I am interested with your palm leaf photos as I am publishing a book with the Ateneo de Manila Press on Palaspas, or the Palm Leaf art of the Philippines. Coconut palm, various species of pandan, buri, nipa, anahaw, anibong, sugarpalm have many uses, I am interested with what early Filipinos make use of the palm leaves in rituals, food wrappers, dance, houses, baskets, clothes and as a material for their embelishment like the "pahiyas" |
