it started with me, then we were three, then four, now six of us went hunting for old churches. 

the photo op club which started with my 2007 visita iglesia has new members.  pinky joined our last trip to tondo and sta cruz. she christened our group - photo cochinta. this time around donna went with the 5 of us to balisong country, to heritage site, taal and its neighboring towns.

at 8 am we boarded a jam bus towards batangas.  we reached lemery around 11am and started our batangas church route with san roque church in the town center.  not knowing our next destination we went by foot towards next town taal and literally stumbled onto the next few churches. the trip turned out to be a fruitful church route encompassing visits to 4 major churches, a ruins site and a lot of heritage houses. pics at photo section.
